This Policy is maintained by Wayvo to explain how the platform handles data. It applies to fleet managers, drivers, supervisors and other staff of organisations that use Wayvo.
1. Data collection
We collect only what is needed to operate Wayvo for your organisation:
- Account details (name, email, role, organisation).
- Vehicle records, trip logs, checklists, fuel and service entries.
- Uploaded documents (insurance, licences, roadworthiness).
- SOS reports and the GPS coordinates captured at the moment a driver triggers SOS or starts a trip.
- Basic usage telemetry to keep the service reliable.
2. Data protection
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with role-based access controls. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider. Access to production systems is strictly limited to authorised personnel and audited.
3. Cookies
Wayvo uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Data retention
We retain operational records for as long as your organisation maintains an active Wayvo account. On termination, you can request an export and deletion of your organisation's data within 30 days.
5. Security
We follow industry best practices, including encryption in transit, least-privilege access, activity logging and regular security reviews. Organisations are encouraged to enforce strong, unique passwords and rotate driver credentials when staff change.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting privacy@wayvo.app. Organisation administrators can export or delete their organisation's records at any time.
7. Third-party services
Wayvo relies on carefully selected infrastructure providers to run the service. We share only the minimum data required and require providers to meet appropriate security and confidentiality obligations.
